How much do Canadians know about identity theft while travelling?
Many Canadians are travelling out of the cold this winter, but do they know how to keep their identification safe while they're away from home and what to do if it is stolen?
New research conducted by identity restoration service provider dragonfly id reports that about one in five Canadians say they or someone they know has been the victim of identity theft while travelling.
The survey was done in consultation with ThinkHatch and Haven Insights. It was launched via Fulcrum Exchange to a sample of 407 Canadians from May 1 to 4 of this year.
