Emily is the founder and owner of ThinkHatch. She is a well-rounded marketer and strategist with 10 years of experience at some of the largest global marketing, media and strategic agencies; MediaCom, Hill+Knowlton, Rosetta Interactive. She provides a service where her marketing expertise meets her love of mentoring. She knows that every business has a story to tell and she takes that story and translates it into a strategic plan.
Emily has been recognized for her achievements with an Honorary Award for 2018 Female Entrepreneur of the Year, Startup Canada, a 2018 Finalist for the Notable Woman Award and a 2018 and 2019 RBC Women of Influence Nominee. She is a member of the board of the Response Marketing Association of Canada.

Michelle is an accomplished marketer and relationship builder with deep experience working with lifestyle brands, consumer electronics and social enterprises, most notably at Microsoft, WE and Apple. She balances and aligns her understanding of the corporate world with experience in strategic marketing. She is purpose-driven and her goal in working with small businesses is to help them become more purpose-driven. In her commitment to giving back, she founded the organization Lift: The Bra Project.

Specializing in social media management, web design, and content creation, Krystal has nearly a decade of experience working with multimillion-dollar companies and start-ups alike, most notably with The Property Brothers, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Genesis Motors. Krystal has garnered a plethora of wins for her clients based upon one simple principle: if content is king, integrity is queen.

Lori is a Toronto-based PR and content marketing professional at the intersection of technology, creativity, and strategy. With a degree in journalism, Lori began her career working in a newsroom covering national news for a digital audience. Her career evolved into entertainment, working in PR and Marketing for large Canadian retailers. For the last few years, Lori has led strategy and media relations for startup beauty, lifestyle, and cannabis companies. Alfredo C. Tan is the first Chief Digital & Innovation Officer for WestJet Airlines, leading a team responsible for building a culture of innovation while significantly enhancing WestJet’s digital capabilities. He is a former Facebook and Instagram Executive in Canada, where Alfredo was a founding team member (2009). He went on to work in Asia-Pacific to help launch Facebook and Instagram in the Philippines. Similar management and leadership assignments brought him throughout Southeast Asia and Latin America.
Alfredo is an Industry Professor in the Strategic Management Faculty at McMaster University and a guest lecturer in The Directors College’s Innovation Governance program for Board Directors. He currently sits on the Digital Advisory Board at the World Aviation Festival, the University of Waterloo, the Advisory Board on Innovation at McMaster University and provides research support for the McMaster Digital Transformation Research Centre (MDTRC). He is a member of the Leadership Council at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics.
Alfredo is currently completing a graduate law degree at the University of Toronto Law School where he is specializing in Innovation, Law & Technology. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science & Biology, and an MBA with a specialization in Information Systems & Technology. Alfredo is a Harvard alumnus and graduate of the Advanced Management Program (AMP) at the Harvard Business School. He is also a member of the Young President’s Organization (YPO).
Alfredo owns a small consulting practice, Escape Velocity Ventures, where he provides guidance, advisory work and keynote lectures to organizations throughout the world. He is a frequent Keynote Speaker at conferences around the world and has been profiled in many leading industry publications.

Danielle Graham is a Principal at Dream Maker Ventures, the first Canadian Venture Capital Fund founded by people of colour and women, focused on investing in diverse, underrepresented, underestimated entrepreneurs. Previous to Dream Maker, Danielle oversaw the Market Readiness Fund, Ontario’s most active seed-stage investment fund.
She has been active in the tech ecosystem, first as a founder herself of Crio Water, a CleanTech water purification startup, then founding the Fierce Founders programs, the first female-focused accelerator and bootcamp series in Canada. Danielle has been an important part of the angel community network, as a board member, investment officer and source of diverse early-stage deal flow to GTAN, Equation Angels and the Laurier Startup Fund.
